Six members of the Westlake Women's Club attended the Sierra Cahuenga District’s Convention in Van Nuys. Our members had a chance to network with women of other clubs, learn and share best practices and to hear presentations about varied and interesting projects.
Westlake Women’s Club was highlighted by winning three Community Service Program awards for:
Women’s History – for Cathy Stewart
Membership - Claudette Davies
Advocates for Children - Petra Montante
Our President, Silvia Scally, was awarded First Place for Narration.
Jackie Harris and Helene Ross attended as past Presidents and Voting Delegates.
