Evening General Meeting Debrief - Sept 2025

The Westlake Women’s Club launched its first evening general meeting session on September 16, 2025, to accommodate members unable to attend the regularly scheduled morning sessions.

During the meeting, the agenda from the last general session was reviewed, and volunteering opportunities on the various committees, led by Lora Adler, were discussed. Membership Chair, Nancy Wiley, highlighted the importance of being an active member, participating in upcoming events, and supporting our fundraising efforts. In addition, 3rd VP, Lisa Friedman, provided an update on the upcoming Holiday Fantasy. Members were reminded of the need to assist with securing donations for the event, as well as to volunteer their time to ensure its success.

It was a wonderful evening of camaraderie, giving current Board members the chance to connect with both new and prospective members. Several new members shared creative ideas for fundraising activities and expressed strong interest in making a meaningful difference in the community.

The Club was delighted with the success of this inaugural session, as it provided an opportunity to engage members who might otherwise be unable to participate.

Welcome to all new and prospective members! We look forward to working alongside you as we continue to make a positive impact in our community.

The next evening debrief meeting will take place during the third week of October. Please visit our website for updates in the coming weeks.
