The Westlake Women’s Club [WWC] is a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, International founded in 1890 [www.GFWC.org], the California Federation of Women’s Clubs [www.CFWC.org] and Sierra-Cahuenga District #15-Area "C."
The WWC members support the arts, preserve natural resources, promote education, encourage healthy lifestyles, stress civic involvement, and work toward world peace and understanding. The Club is a volunteer, non-profit organization comprised of a diverse group of dedicated and dynamic women who encourage a spirit of goodwill and cooperation in all affairs pertaining to welfare and betterment of our community - the Conejo Valley. Since 1969 we have raised and distributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to dozens of charities, non-profit organizations and scholarships in the Conejo Valley region.
The WWC is comprised of two sections:
Day Group and Evening Group.
Once inducted, a member is welcome to attend meetings and support fundraising activities of either section at any time. See Membership for more details.
Our successful main fundraisers organized during the year include:
"Holiday Fantasy Tea" is held in early November at the North Ranch Country Club., and previously at other lovely locations such as the Sherwood Country Club and the Four Seasons Hotel over the years.
"Fashions on Parade" is held in April sponsored by The Oaks Mall held at the Hyatt Westlake Plaza Hotel
"Summer Wine Down" is held in August at the Westlake Village Inn.
