WWC DISTRICT CONVENTION 2022

Nine Club members attended the Sierra Cahuenga District’s 64th. Convention at the Calabasas Country Club on April 23rd. and had a chance to network with women of other clubs and to hear presentations about their varied and interesting projects.

Westlake Women’s Club was highlighted by winning four (4) FIRST PLACE Awards.

1) Outstanding Service in Arts and Culture, project Chair -Margo Lewis;

2) Communications & Public Relations – to the clubs Media Team, Claudette Davies, Pam Kristjansson and Webmaster Geoffrey Davies;

3) Women’s History – for Cathy Stewart‘s monthly presentations and

4) Outstanding Service for Civic Engagement & Outreach for the Tiny Homes Project Chaired by members Diany Klein and Pam Kristjansson.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THESE CLUB MEMBERS WHO FOUND HOURS TO VOLUNTEER AND SHOW THEIR CARE FOR OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY.
