Philanthropic Spring Royale Gala

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE ORGANIZING COMMITTEE AND ALL MEMBERS WHO VOLUNTEERED TO PRODUCE THE APRIL 2025 SPRING ROYALE GALA!!!

As you may have heard it was a difficult task to organize in three months, but with goodwill and lots of hours of creative meetings of the organizing committee we can now say: A HUGE THANK YOUUU FOR THE LEADERSHIP OF CRISTINA ULLFIG AND LORA ADLER, AND TO ALL MEMBERS WHO WORKED WITH PASSION TO MAKE THIS EVENT A SUCCESS!!!!!

Honoring Founder's 57 years as a dedicated WWC volunteer - !Helene Ross

We were extremely proud to open the evening Gala presenting a highly professional video celebrating our founder Helene Ross and her 57 years of dedication to this Club - produced and donated by Brian Gaffney, Lisa Friedman and Taylor Gaffney. Thank YOU!!!!

After this all guests in attendance stood tossing a loud Happy Birthday for Helene Ross, who received a Gift Certificate of appreciation from the WWC Board.

Guest Speakers at the event were the Ventura County District Attorney Erik Nazarenko who presented on the partnership of WWC with the VC Family Justice Center over the years; the founder of Childhood Matters Shaleena Tareen, who recently opened an office in the Justice Center to support Mental Health for Youth and their families;

Mr Kieu Hoang

and Mr. Kieu Hoang who highlighted his partnership with Helene Ross and the women of the Westlake Women’s Club who supported his family when they were in need of a home, job and schooling arriving from a war zone.

Mr. Hoang presented a donation of five checks for a total of $50,000 to support our Education Scholarships. In appreciation, the WWC Board presented Mr. Kieu Hoang with a crystal “Diamond Education Sponsor” award.
