A Morning of Movement, Wellness, and Community at the YMCA

What a fantastic and energizing fitness event for the members of the Westlake Women’s Club! Our recent workout at the Yarrow YMCA in Westlake Village was a wonderful reminder of how powerful it is to come together in the spirit of health, strength, and community.

This uplifting event was thoughtfully arranged by our very own member Dani Hutchison, Chief Operating Officer of the Yarrow YMCA. Dani generously opened the doors to this beautiful facility and helped create a welcoming, motivating environment where members could challenge themselves, have fun, and support one another.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to the members who joined us on Thursday, January 21, and showed their enthusiasm and support for this fun and healthy experience: Vice President Lora Alder, Kristin Hoover, Maria Kemp, Sylvia Landon, Lis Lauer, Suzanne Lazotte, Petra Montante, Bibi Peneva, and Patt Sendejas, Chair of the Health and Wellness Committee. Your participation truly brought the event to life.

The energy in the room was contagious as members kept pace with Fitness Trainer Michelle, who led a truly rocking workout. Her enthusiasm, encouragement, and expert guidance inspired everyone to push just a little further while still enjoying every moment. It was wonderful to see so many strong, committed women embracing movement and wellness together.

A very special and BIG thank you goes to the 23 members of the Health and Wellness Committee who worked behind the scenes to help organize this event. Your teamwork, dedication, and support were instrumental in making this experience so successful and uplifting for all who attended.

Events like this reflect the heart of the Westlake Women’s Club,

bringing members together through meaningful experiences that promote connection, well-being, and joy. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this such a memorable and inspiring event. We look forward to many more opportunities to move, connect, and grow together!
