All WWC members and guests were welcomed to the September 14th. General Meeting at Los Robles Greens Club Thousand Oaks.
Meeting was called to Order and Membership Chair Mrs. Claudette Davies reported on five new members who joined our Club: Present were Ms. Rebecca Buck, Ms. Pearl Coburn and Ms. Karen Sauer who received their Club name lapels, the Yearbook and flowers; Ms. Maryam Sharifi and Ms. Linda Smith will receive them at a later date.
Our speaker for the day was Mr. Brian Stark, Administrator for the Conejo Open Space Conservation Agency who presented an informative video on how the COSCA team works to help maintain the surrounding open spaces, trails and the local habitat.
Club 1st VP, Dean of Chairmen, Mrs. Petra Montante explained how the Club is planning to serve our community in the following months with philanthropic Community Services projects directed by the Chairpersons for: Arts & Culture, Civic Engagement/Outreach, Education, Environment and Health & Wellness.
Ms.Deanna Owens and Ms.Margo Lewis, Chairs for the North Ranch Country Club November Holiday Fantasy event informed on event ticket purchases and Gift Certificates.
All guests and members enjoyed sharing stories and camaraderie during the well-served Los Robles Greens club luncheon.
