This week, Westlake Women’s Club members went to the Westminster Free Clinic in Thousand Oaks to pack school items into the 70 backpacks with 70 scientific calculators our Club donated for high school students of the Class of 2025. Our volunteers enjoyed partnering with the Westminster Free Clinic volunteers directed by their amazing Executive Director, Lisa Safaeinili M.P.H..
Yesterday, Wednesday, August 8, 2024, our members experienced the joy of volunteering once more at this location to offer helping hands in the distribution of more than 690 backpacks donated by multiple local organizations for elementary, middle and high school students.
A big thank you to the Westlake Women’s Club members Susan, Teri, Lora, Cristina, Nancy, Janice, Petra and Silvia for joining forces to bring a smile to our local students and their parents. All our Club volunteers appreciated the opportunity to serve our community and to learn more about the much needed services provided by the Westminster Free Clinic!
